WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY
Emergency hospital admissions are covered on every LMS option. If you experience a serious medical emergency, call ER24 on 0860 00 HELP/4357 or 084 124 for an ambulance. Alternatively, go straight to your nearest hospital.

If you’re expecting a baby, congratulations! You’re in for the adventure of a lifetime. And we’ll be right beside you every step of the way. If you’re on TRADITIONAL Ultimate, or any of the COMPLETE or SAVER option choices, the Liberty Baby Programme is meant just for you.
All active beneficiaries of Liberty Medical Scheme excluding beneficiaries on TRADITIONAL Standard, who travel internationally (outside the borders of South Africa) for leisure, may qualify for medical cover through our International Care Programme. The policy provides medical cover up to a maximum of R5 million per trip (the TRADITIONAL Ultimate option choice provides up to R10 million cover) for up to 90 days per trip, irrespective of how many trips are made during the year.
